While today’s impact is expected to be limited, a more significant weather event is predicted between April 18 and 20.

According to the latest advisory, cloudy skies, widespread light to moderate rain, and even snowfall in higher elevations are expected from April 18 to 20 across the Kashmir Valley. The IMD has issued a special alert for April 18-19, during which moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong gusty winds may affect various districts.
