Demands for CBI Inquiry Rise After Notorious Bandit Jagan Gurjars Death in Jail

Jaipur, June 30: The murder of notorious bandit Jagan Gurjar in Ajmer’s high-security jail has raised serious concerns regarding prison safety and law enforcement in the state. Hanuman Beniwal, the national convenor of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party and MP from Nagaur, has called for an immediate CBI inquiry into the incident, labeling it extremely serious.

Beniwal expressed his concerns via the social media platform X, stating that the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a prisoner in what is considered Rajasthan’s most secure jail cast serious doubts on the jail administration’s operations.

Beniwal emphasized that the suspicious death of Jagan Gurjar in Ajmer’s high-security jail is a grave incident. He pointed out that such an event in a high-security facility indicates a significant failure in security measures.
