BJP Womens Wing Hosts Student Conference on Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjees 125th Birth Anniversary

Jaipur, July 8: The BJP Women’s Wing in Rajasthan organized a student conference at the Nirmala Auditorium in Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The event saw significant participation from college students and schoolgirls.

The chief guest, BJP State President Madan Rathore, addressed the attendees, emphasizing that Dr. Mukherjee dedicated his entire life to India’s integrity and unity. He pointed out that many national leaders made invaluable contributions during the freedom struggle and post-independence nation-building, yet society, especially the youth, lacks adequate knowledge about them.

Rathore noted that the limited presentation of history has left the new generation unaware of the sacrifices and contributions of many great personalities. He stressed the need to introduce students and youth to the lives, thoughts, and sacrifices of such eminent figures.

He also highlighted Dr. Mukherjee’s supreme sacrifice for the complete integration of Kashmir and mentioned Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s contributions to national service. Rathore stated that events like these are essential for instilling the values and dedication of national leaders in the younger generation.

Dr. Alka Gurjar, a Rajya Sabha MP and the main speaker at the conference, elaborated on Dr. Mukherjee’s contributions to nation-building and the unity of Assam, Bengal, and Kashmir. She referenced Dr. Mukherjee’s struggle concerning Article 370, noting that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the historic task of abrogating Article 370 was accomplished, integrating Jammu and Kashmir into the mainstream of development and equal rights.

Dr. Gurjar also mentioned the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, highlighting the historic decisions made under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership for the social, economic, and political empowerment of women and girls. She urged students to stay informed about social and political issues, understand the nation’s history, and play an active role in nation-building.

Dr. Rakhi Rathore called on students to actively participate in nation-building, social service, and organizational work. The BJP Women’s Wing’s state president announced plans for similar student dialogues and youth conferences across various regions in the state. She emphasized that these programs would provide comprehensive information about the lives, thoughts, sacrifices, and contributions of national leaders.

Dr. Rakhi Rathore stated that such events foster a spirit of working for the nation’s interest among the younger generation. She urged students to engage actively in nation-building, social service, and organizational efforts.

The program was attended by State General Secretary Arun Sihag, Murti Meena, state officials of the Women’s Wing, and a large number of students and schoolgirls.
