Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Launches ₹117 Crore Development Projects in Alwar

Alwar, September 28: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated and laid the foundation for 95 development projects worth ₹117 crores during his visit to Khairthal-Tijara on Monday. He also announced several new initiatives related to roads, water, and electricity for the region.

The Chief Minister‘s day began in Bayana, Bharatpur district, before he arrived in Khairthal. A total of 345 development projects across eight districts were scheduled for inauguration and foundation laying, with an estimated cost of approximately ₹1,109 crores. Out of these, 95 projects are designated for the Khairthal-Tijara, Kotputli-Bahrod areas.

Details of the 95 Projects

Among the 95 projects, 72 were inaugurated, while 23 were launched. These projects include road networks, libraries, parks, cow shelters, farmer service centers, and sports fields.

Announcement of Neemrana Dam and 45-Meter Master Plan Road

During the event, the Chief Minister made significant announcements for Khairthal-Tijara, including the initiation of work on the Neemrana Dam under the Ramjal Setu Link Project.

Additionally, the development of a 45-meter master plan road, strengthening the road from Tijara to the Firozpur (Haryana) border, and the establishment of new executive engineer positions for the PHED and JVVNL were also announced.

Khairthal-Tijara as a Major Industrial Hub

The Chief Minister stated that due to its proximity to Delhi-NCR, the Bhiwadi industrial area, and improved connectivity, Khairthal-Tijara has significant potential for industrial development. He emphasized that this area could play a vital role in becoming one of the leading industrial zones in Rajasthan and the country.

He assured that the government is working on enhancing infrastructure and industrial connectivity while continuously expanding administrative facilities.

Cooperative and Dairy Production Initiatives

Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted the state’s efforts to activate cooperative societies at the village level, claiming that nearly 1 million new members have joined cooperatives.

He noted that daily milk production in the state has increased from 3.4 million liters to 4.7 million liters over the past two and a half years. He also mentioned additional support being provided to farmers alongside the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.

Focus on Youth and Women Empowerment

The Chief Minister reported that 190,000 government appointments have been made, with recruitment processes ongoing for 122,000 positions. He stressed that the government is dedicated to enhancing skill development and employment opportunities for youth.

Referring to the Lakhsapati Didi scheme, he stated that the number of women associated with the program has grown from 1.1 million to 1.9 million. Furthermore, over 57,000 self-help groups have been formed, with ₹928 crores in loans provided.

Water Projects and RRTS Mentioned

The Chief Minister discussed several water projects, including the Ramjal Setu Link Project, the Yamuna Water Agreement, and the Narmada Water Agreement. He stated that efforts are underway to provide tap connections to rural households under the Jal Jeevan Mission, along with improvements in electricity supply.

He also mentioned the proposed RRTS from Delhi-Haryana to be extended to Bahrod, with plans for future expansion to Kotputli. Additionally, he highlighted ongoing projects related to missing link roads and the Atal Pragati Path.

The event was attended by several leaders, including Union Minister for Environment and Forests Bhupender Yadav, who discussed the need for facilities connecting the district headquarters, medical colleges, stadiums, and bus stands in the Khairthal area.
