Rajasthan Welcomes Three New Train Services to Enhance Connectivity

Jaipur, October 6: Rajasthan has received a significant boost in its rail connectivity with the introduction of three new train services. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw approved the operation of these trains at the request of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. According to the state government, this initiative will strengthen regional connectivity and provide seamless travel options for passengers across various districts.

The newly launched Bhuj-Barouni Amrit Bharat Express will operate through Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, and Bharatpur, offering direct connectivity from Gujarat to Bihar for travelers in Hadoti and eastern Rajasthan.

Additionally, the Haridwar-Okha and Haridwar-Veraval Express trains will run through Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Abu Road, facilitating easier movement between Uttarakhand and Gujarat. However, the state government has not yet disclosed the train numbers, operation dates, or weekly schedules for these services.

This expansion of rail services follows the recent introduction of a new Vande Bharat train, which commenced regular operations between Surat and Udaipur earlier this month, completing the journey in approximately seven and a half hours.

The ongoing enhancement of rail facilities in the state reflects a commitment to improving transportation infrastructure and accessibility for residents.
