Modis Leadership Thwarts Regime Change Efforts, Says Ramcharan Bohra

Jaipur, October 21: Former MP Ramcharan Bohra stated that political instability and violent protests in various countries serve as lessons for India’s opposition. He emphasized that the recent events in France, Bangladesh, and Nepal highlight the importance of India’s stability, democratic framework, and strong leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has successfully thwarted attempts at regime change in the country.

In Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was forced to resign and leave the country following a student movement in August 2024. Similarly, in Nepal, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned after youth protests in September 2025.

Allegations Against Congress and Opposition

Bohra accused Congress and some other opposition parties of attempting to create an atmosphere of confusion, dissatisfaction, and chaos in their quest for power. He pointed out that the opposition’s political agenda has shifted from addressing public issues to weakening the central government by any means necessary.

He acknowledged that while opposing the government is a right in a democracy, creating an environment of fear, violence, and instability under the guise of protest is unacceptable. According to him, the public will not support politics that jeopardizes national unity, integrity, and social harmony.

‘India is Not a Weak Nation’

Bohra asserted that under Modi’s leadership and policies, public trust in the country’s democratic institutions and constitutional framework has strengthened. He declared that India is not a weak nation and stands confidently on the global stage. He urged the opposition to abandon negative politics and engage in development and public welfare issues.

He concluded by stating that there can be no compromise on the nation’s peace, democracy, and unity, and those who seek to gain politically through chaos will be answered democratically by the public.

Bohra had previously highlighted the situations in France, Bangladesh, and Nepal as lessons for India’s opposition on October 19.
