Election Atmosphere Heats Up in Bikaner

On the same day, a Congress Panchayat Raj election conference took place in Nal village, where former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticized the state government over issues like moong prices, canal water, and cow shelter grants. Prior to the Panchayat elections, the BJP appointed 72 election in-charges across 41 districts.

The state is conducting Panchayati Raj elections in four phases, with the model code of conduct in effect for rural areas. Due to Dhanteras, the dates for the first three phases have been moved up by one day, with the first phase of voting starting on October 22.
