
New Delhi, August 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its new national team, appointing various leaders to key positions. National President Nitin Naveen announced these appointments in a press release from the party’s central office on Sunday, effective immediately.
Among the notable names from Rajasthan are former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, who has been appointed as the National Vice President, and Dr. Satish Poonia, the former state president of Rajasthan BJP, who will serve as the National General Secretary.
The list released by the BJP includes 13 National Vice Presidents, with Vasundhara Raje representing Rajasthan. Dr. Satish Poonia is one of the eight National General Secretaries appointed from various states, marking a significant political development for the Rajasthan BJP.
In total, the BJP has appointed 13 National Vice Presidents. Alongside Raje, leaders from other states such as Tirath Singh Rawat from Uttarakhand, Ram Madhav from Delhi, and Baijayant Jay Panda from Odisha have also been included.
B.L. Santosh has been appointed as the National General Secretary (Organization), with Shivprakash and Soudan Singh as National Co-General Secretaries (Organization). Through this new team, the BJP has assigned responsibilities to leaders from various states at the central level.
The list of National General Secretaries includes eight leaders, such as Vinod Tawde from Maharashtra, Sunil Bansal from Delhi, and Smriti Irani from Uttar Pradesh, among others. Dr. Satish Poonia’s appointment is particularly noteworthy as he has previously served as the state president of Rajasthan BJP.
Additionally, the BJP has announced the heads of its seven major fronts. Dr. Hemang Joshi from Gujarat will lead the Youth Front, while Roop Kumari Chaudhary from Chhattisgarh will head the Women’s Front. Other appointments include Amar Pal Maurya for the OBC Front and Dr. Mannalal Rawat from Rajasthan for the ST Front.
The party has also appointed Anil Baluni from Uttarakhand as the National Media Coordinator, with Ashish Usha Agarwal from Madhya Pradesh and Pradeep Bhandari from Delhi as Media Co-Coordinators. Deepak Mhaskey from Chhattisgarh will serve as the Social Media Coordinator.
All these appointments are effective immediately, as confirmed by Arun Singh, the party’s National General Secretary and in-charge of the headquarters.
