Congress Reviews Rajasthan Organization Performance in New Delhi Meeting

New Delhi, August 8: A significant meeting was held at the Congress headquarters, Indira Gandhi Bhawan, under the leadership of KC Venugopal, the National General Secretary of Congress. Present were key figures including State President Govind Singh Dotasra, Leader of the Opposition Tikaram Julie, Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, and co-in-charges Ritvik Makwana, Chiranjeevi Rao, and Poonam Paswan.

The meeting focused on reviewing the performance of district presidents appointed under the Congress Organization Creation Campaign by the AICC. Discussions included the implementation of party programs and organizational activities.

Feedback on District Presidents’ Performance
Sources indicate that detailed feedback was gathered regarding the performance of district presidents. Approximately half of them were rated positively, achieving an ‘A grade’ performance level.

However, four district presidents were deemed unsatisfactory in their execution of party programs and organizational activities, receiving a ‘D grade’ rating. Notably, the Congress has not released any official grading list for the district presidents.

Discussion on Inactive State Officials
The meeting also addressed concerns regarding state Congress officials who have been inactive or frequently absent from organizational programs. Proposals for changes among these inactive officials were discussed. If consensus is reached, changes within the state organization may be forthcoming.

Pre-Meeting Discussions
Before the meeting with KC Venugopal, State President Govind Singh Dotasra and Leader of the Opposition Tikaram Julie met with Rajasthan Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa at his residence in Delhi. They reportedly discussed the current state of the organization, the performance of district presidents, and upcoming organizational strategies.

Focus on Activating the Organization
This review by Congress leadership is seen as an effort to revitalize the organization in Rajasthan. Future organizational decisions may be made regarding the implementation of party programs, district-level activity, and the roles of state officials. However, the final status regarding any potential changes or grading will only be clarified after an official announcement from Congress.
