BJP Launches Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy Campaign Amidst Congress Attacks

Jaipur, October 30: In response to Congress’s allegations regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list and claims of “vote theft,” the BJP is set to launch its “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy” campaign starting Friday. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will kick off the initiative from Kota. The campaign will feature public meetings and rallies in divisional headquarters and major cities, attended by the Chief Minister, central ministers, and senior party leaders.

The campaign is divided into two phases. The first phase will run from October 30 to November 5, covering 15 districts. After Diwali, the second phase will address the remaining districts. Initially, public meetings will be held, followed by rallies where party workers will engage directly with the public.

Central Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will lead a rally in Alwar on October 31. On November 5, Central Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will participate in a rally in Jaipur, starting with a public meeting at Ramleela Maidan and culminating in a march to Tripolia Gate. The responsibility of mobilizing the crowd has been assigned to the city BJP, which has pledged to gather 10,000 workers.

In response to Congress’s accusations of removing eligible voters’ names from the list, BJP leaders will take to the streets to highlight the benefits of the SIR.

BJP State General Secretary Shravan Singh Bagri stated that the campaign aims to raise awareness among the public regarding issues like the voter list, SIR, and infiltration. He emphasized that the party intends to directly address Congress’s questions about the electoral process, linking it to the strength of democracy and the credibility of the voter list.
