Call for Accountability: Hanuman Beniwal Demands Fair Investigation into Ministers Actions

Jaipur, June 11: Hanuman Beniwal, the convenor of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP), has launched a strong attack on the Rajasthan government and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, demanding an impartial investigation into the actions of the ministers. He stated that if the state government advocates for accountability and transparency, it should also ensure an independent and fair inquiry into the ministers’ conduct.

Beniwal specifically named Water Supply Minister Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Baid, Minister Hiralal Nagar, and K.K. Bishnoi, urging the government to adopt uniform standards in all matters and avoid any form of bias.

Referring to the infamous political developments in Rajasthan during 2020, Beniwal also criticized the Congress party. He accused Congress of engaging in political maneuvering to save its government, which involved significant instances of horse-trading among legislators. He claimed that many MLAs switched allegiance to support then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot during that tumultuous period.

Beniwal noted that at that time, his party had three MLAs and was aligned with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). According to him, various efforts were made at different levels to preserve the government, leading to numerous political events.

During this announcement, Beniwal also revealed a significant update regarding the proposed rally in Bharatpur. He stated that the RLP rally scheduled for June 21 has been postponed. This decision was made to avoid any inconvenience to students and their parents due to the medical entrance examination taking place around the same time.

He mentioned that the party would soon announce a new date for the rally. Beniwal emphasized that the upcoming gathering in Bharatpur would focus on various state issues and amplify the voices of the common people.

Political analysts suggest that Beniwal’s recent statements come at a time when Rajasthan’s political landscape is rife with accusations and counter-accusations regarding accountability, administrative transparency, and the actions of ministers. His remarks are seen as a new political offensive in the state’s ongoing political discourse.
