Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Urges BJP Legislators to Promote Development Initiatives

Jaipur, June 8: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the need for BJP workers and representatives to communicate the unprecedented development witnessed in the country over the past 12 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He stated that the double-engine government at both the central and state levels prioritizes public welfare and development.

Sharma addressed the BJP legislative party meeting held in the Rajasthan Assembly’s lobby on Monday. He highlighted the organizational skills and experience of the BJP candidates selected for the Rajya Sabha, Satish Poonia and Alka Gurjar, noting that their success would benefit both the state and the nation. Their entry into the upper house of Parliament is a matter of pride for Rajasthan, he added.

The Chief Minister mentioned various state government schemes and initiatives aimed at reaching the most marginalized individuals, including programs like the Village Development Chariot and Village Development Chaupal. He explained that the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Campaign is transforming water conservation into a public movement, ensuring active participation from the community.

Sharma announced that from June 5 to June 21, a program titled “12 Years of Trust, Development, and Public Welfare” will be held to inform the public about the historic achievements and development plans initiated under Modi’s leadership. This initiative will include cleanliness drives, tree planting, workshops, seminars, and various outreach programs. Additionally, information about government achievements will be shared through rituals at temples and other social activities.

After the meeting, BJP’s Rajya Sabha candidates Dr. Satish Poonia and Dr. Alka Gurjar submitted their nomination papers to the election officer. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Deputy Chief Ministers Dinesh Kumari and Premchand Berwa, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Chief Whip G. Jogeshwar Garg, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Madan Rathore, and several other legislators and officials were present at the event.

The meeting also included detailed discussions on organizational activities, the promotion of welfare schemes, and upcoming events.
