
Chittorgarh, April 5: A significant breakthrough in illegal liquor smuggling has been achieved through a joint operation by the Chanderia police and the District Special Team (DST). Authorities seized 1,920 bottles of English liquor along with a tempo and a Maruti Swift car during the operation.
Four suspects—Dhanraj, Rajesh Parik, Prahlad Jaiswal, and Bhimraj Meena—were arrested for transporting liquor without a license.
Superintendent of Police Manish Tripathi confirmed that this operation is part of an ongoing campaign against illegal smuggling.
The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the entire network involved in the operation.
