Jaipur, June 19: Neeraj Jain, the former Deputy Mayor of Ajmer and a prominent BJP leader, has been removed from his position as the state spokesperson. This decision comes after a recording of a private conversation he had with associates at a restaurant in Jaipur’s Constitution Club reached party leadership. The incident has sparked significant discussion within the BJP.

According to reports, Jain was engaged in an informal chat over tea with acquaintances when he allegedly made comments regarding senior party leadership that were deemed serious by the organization. A participant in the conversation recorded the discussion and subsequently shared it with the party president. Following this, swift action was taken to remove Jain from his spokesperson role.

Previously, Jain had made headlines when photos of him with Nitin Nabin surfaced after Nabin was appointed as the national president of the BJP. These images were reportedly taken at the wedding ceremony of the granddaughter of Sikkim’s Governor, Om Prakash Mathur. Political circles speculated that Jain’s close ties with Nitin Nabin stemmed from their collaboration in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.

Additionally, Jain has been considered close to BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Supporters and political analysts had anticipated that he might receive a significant role within the organization in the future. However, this recent incident has cost him his current position.
