Udaipur, March 25: Hindustan Zinc, under its CSR initiative, successfully organized health camps in the regions surrounding its operational units in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, including Agucha, Chanderiya, Jawar, Dariba, and Pantnagar. A total of 1,101 individuals received quality healthcare services, comprising 561 women and 540 men.
To ensure convenience and maximum participation, door-to-door transportation was provided, allowing residents from remote areas to access these health services. The camps featured a team of experienced gynecologists, orthopedic specialists, and general physicians who offered personalized and comprehensive consultations. Essential health screenings, including hemoglobin tests, blood pressure checks, and random blood sugar screenings, were also available. Free medications were distributed to those in need.
This initiative has emerged as an empowering model for rural and tribal communities. It addresses gaps in access to healthcare services, facilitating timely treatment for those in need. Through Hindustan Zinc‘s CSR health project, over 200,000 rural residents benefit annually.
