Udaipur, May 13, 2026 (Daily Udaipur): Dr Kirti Kumar Jain, Chairman of the GBH Group and a noted cancer specialist practicing in the United States, said that precision medicine is emerging as one of the most revolutionary directions in modern medical science.

Addressing a ceremony at the Vigyan Samiti campus, Dr Jain said future treatment systems will not be based only on diseases, but also on an individual’s genetic structure, lifestyle and biological characteristics.
He spoke in detail about the evolution of medical science from traditional treatment methods to future healthcare systems driven by genomics, artificial intelligence, biomarkers and continuous health monitoring. According to him, the integration of science, medicine and technology will make early prediction, faster diagnosis and highly accurate treatment of diseases possible in the coming years.
The programme was jointly organised by Vigyan Samiti, Institution of Engineers, Mining Engineers Association of India and Dr DS Kothari Institute.
During the event, Dr Kirti Kumar Jain was honoured with the Dr DS Kothari Excellence Award 2026. Former Vice Chancellor and Higher Education Advisor to the Governor, Prof Kailash Sodani, attended as the chief guest.
