
Udaipur, March 14: The central officer, Mr. Subhash Chandra Karol, conducted a review meeting on the Aspirational Block Program of the Government of India’s NITI Aayog on Friday. The meeting took place in the district council auditorium, focusing on the progress of programs in the selected aspirational block, Kherwara.
During the meeting, various departments discussed their ongoing efforts, achievements, and future strategies related to the Aspirational Block Program. The Chief Executive Officer of the district council, Riya Dabi, and Chief Planning Officer, Mahaveer Prasad, presented a detailed overview of the program’s progress in the district. They highlighted that continuous work is being done in Kherwara based on various indicators set by NITI Aayog, leading to better outcomes through departmental coordination.
The meeting also reviewed the achievements from the first phase of the comprehensive campaign. CEO Dabi reported that several goals related to health, nutrition, education, and infrastructure were successfully met during this phase. Additionally, updates on the ongoing second phase activities and their progress were shared with the central officer. Innovations and best practices implemented by various departments were also presented. Officials noted that local innovations have significantly enhanced the program’s implementation, directly benefiting the community.
Further, details about the “Khushhal Kherwara Abhiyan,” initiated by the district collector, were discussed. Officials explained that this campaign focuses on various aspects of social and economic development in the region, resulting in positive benefits for the local community.
Mr. Karol expressed satisfaction with the ongoing work and progress in Kherwara. He urged officials to clearly communicate any additional support or resources needed from central ministries for effective implementation of any plans, ensuring timely assistance can be provided.
The meeting was attended by the Chief District Education Officer, Pratibha Gupta, ICDS Deputy Director Nandlal Meghwal, Assistant Director Dr. Dinesh Bansal from the CDEO office, along with various district-level officials from different departments.
