
Ujjain, April 12: Ashish Singh, the Commissioner of Ujjain, has suspended H.S. Bharti, the District Education Officer of Devas, with immediate effect due to financial irregularities. This action falls under Rule 9(1)(k) of the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1966.
The order states that reports of financial misconduct were received from the District Education Office. In response, Collector Rituraj Singh formed an investigative team. The team confirmed that financial irregularities were indeed occurring within the District Education Office. Based on the report from Collector Singh, Commissioner Ashish Singh has taken the decision to suspend H.S. Bharti immediately.
During the suspension period, Bharti will remain at the headquarters of the Joint Director of Public Education in Ujjain and will be eligible to receive a subsistence allowance as per regulations. Ajay Mishra, the District Project Coordinator of Devas, will manage the responsibilities of the District Education Officer until further orders from the government.
