
Udaipur, March 14: Subhash Chandra Karol, the central in-charge officer of the NITI Aayog, conducted an inspection of the Sampoorna Abhiyan 2.0 program in the Jawas Gram Panchayat of the Kherwada block on Friday. This initiative is part of the Aspirational Block Program launched by the Government of India.
During the inspection, Karol held a meeting with block-level officials to gather detailed information on the activities being carried out under the Aspirational Block Program. Attendees included Riya Dabi, Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, Sub-Divisional Officer Jai Singh, Chief Planning Officer Mahavir Prasad, Development Officer Madan Lohar, and various block-level officials and frontline workers.
Karol engaged in discussions with frontline workers to understand the challenges and issues faced during the implementation of the campaign. He provided necessary instructions to officials for the swift resolution of these problems. He praised the efforts being made under Sampoorna Abhiyan 2.0, emphasizing that such coordinated initiatives accelerate the overall development of aspirational areas.
Inspection of Jawas Gram Panchayat
After the meeting, Karol inspected the Anganwadi center and the girls’ school located in the Jawas Gram Panchayat within the Kherwada block. He assessed the nutritional services provided to children, educational activities, and basic facilities. During this visit, he appreciated the exhibition of products prepared by the Sakhi members of Rajivika. Following this, he also inspected the Community Health Center in Kherwada.
During the inspection, BCMO Kherwada and Community Health Center in-charge Dr. Anil Goyal provided detailed information about the health services, medical facilities, and human resource status at the center. Karol observed the KMC ward, labor room, and operation theater in the hospital. He expressed satisfaction with the health services provided at the institution but also highlighted the need for repairs to the hospital building, instructing the relevant officials to take necessary action.
