Samsung Raises Prices on Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and F17 5G Models

Samsung has raised prices for several Galaxy A and F series smartphones in India. A leaked internal pricing document from tipster AN Leaks reveals the new rates, although Samsung has yet to make an official announcement. The changes seem to be implemented in some physical stores, while online platforms have not fully updated their listings.

Price Increases for Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G

The Galaxy A56 5G has seen a price increase for its higher storage options. The 8GB + 256GB version is now priced at ₹44,999, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹48,999. Both variants are approximately ₹1,000 more expensive than before.

The Galaxy A36 5G also experienced similar price hikes. The 8GB + 256GB variant has risen from ₹35,499 to ₹36,999. The 12GB + 256GB option now retails for ₹40,499, reflecting a similar increase of about ₹1,000 per variant.

Galaxy F17 5G Prices Increase as Well

The Galaxy F17 5G has also become pricier. The 4GB + 128GB variant is now available for ₹16,499, while the 6GB + 128GB version costs ₹17,999. Both models have increased by around ₹1,000. The 8GB + 128GB model is now priced at ₹19,999, marking a significant jump of ₹1,500 from its previous price.

Online Retailers Still Display Old Prices

A check of major online shopping sites reveals that many devices still show the older prices. This suggests that the price increase may be rolling out gradually or is currently limited to physical retail locations.

Second Price Increase This Year

This is not the first price hike Samsung has implemented in 2026. Reports from January indicated that the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy F17 5G had already seen price increases. Additional leaks suggest potential hikes for more Samsung models later this year, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
