Jaipur, October 17: Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje participated in a tree planting event on Friday evening in the Shiv Enclave of the Manvayas area in Jaipur. This initiative was part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ launched to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service. Raje urged attendees to plant more trees, care for them, and contribute to a greener environment.
The event referenced the Prime Minister’s call for ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother,’ which aims to encourage people to plant trees for environmental protection. Raje emphasized the importance of nurturing these plants. The program was organized by BJP’s Diksha Khandelwal, who expressed gratitude to Raje for her participation.
Prime Minister Modi completed 25 years in public service on October 7, having served as Chief Minister of Gujarat and then as Prime Minister. A celebration was held in Jaipur on the same day, followed by a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on October 14, where a proposal to honor the Prime Minister was passed.
In recent months, Raje has been actively participating in various events in Jaipur. In September, she attended a welcome event for BJP National President Nitin Naveen at the Chief Minister’s residence, and in August, she met with residents during Raksha Bandhan in Civil Lines.
