Weather Update: Rain and Hailstorm Likely in Rajasthan as Western Disturbance Intensifies

Jaipur, February 19, 2025 A shift in weather patterns has been observed across RAJASTHAN, with rainfall and cloud cover affecting several districts, including Jaipur. The influence of an active Western Disturbance has brought light showers since Tuesday morning, while some border districts in Jodhpur and Bikaner regions recorded light rain and drizzle late Monday night.

The INDIA Meteorological Department (IMD) Jaipur has issued a rain alert for nine districts, predicting continued weather changes until February 20.

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, the impact of the Western Disturbance will cause cloudy skies and scattered rainfall in northwestern and northern Rajasthan over the next 48 hours.

February 19-20: Light rain and isolated thunderstorms expected in parts of Shekhawati region and northwestern districts.
30-40 km/h winds likely to accompany the changing weather.
A slight drop in temperature is expected post-rainfall.
