Udaipur: In a significant crackdown against illegal narcotics, the District Special Team, in coordination with Sukher Police Station, arrested a Kenyan woman for possession of 30.17 grams of MDMA, a banned substance. This operation is part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign led by Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal.

Under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Ojha and Circle Officer Kailashchand, the joint team—led by Inspector Shyam Singh Ratnu (District Special Team In-Charge) and Ravindra Charan, Station Officer, Sukher—conducted the operation on January 26. The accused, identified as Nancy Avino, 27, daughter of Daniel Ochung Christian, is a resident of Nairobi Kisumu West, Kenya.
Nancy was staying at Heritage Haveli Guest House, Udaipur, Rajasthan, at the time of her arrest. The team confiscated 30.17 grams of illegal MDMA from her possession. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway to uncover potential links to larger drug networks.
This arrest underscores the district police’s commitment to curbing the menace of illegal drugs and ensuring public safety. Further developments in the case are expected as the investigation progresses.
