Bhopal, January 31 Cold weather continues to grip Madhya Pradesh, with another cold spell expected in the first week of February. While extreme cold is not anticipated, temperatures in several cities could drop to around 5-8°C during the night and early morning.
According to weather experts, two Western Disturbances are set to become active on February 1 and 3, but their impact on Madhya Pradesh will be minimal. As a result, rainfall is unlikely, though cloud cover may be seen in Gwalior-Chambal and Ujjain divisions. The main impact of the Western Disturbance will be over Rajasthan, while MP will experience a mixed weather pattern in early February.

Daytime temperatures will remain warm with clear skies.
Cold mornings and nights will continue, leading to another cold spell.
February 1: Some areas may experience partly cloudy skies.

Several cities in Madhya Pradesh are experiencing warmer days, with temperatures exceeding 28°C.
Highest temperatures recorded on Thursday:
- Seoni 33°C (hottest in MP)
- Khandwa 32.1°C
- Mandla 32°C
- Khargone, Ratlam, Narmadapuram, Sagar Above 31°C
- Bhopal, Betul, Guna, Shivpuri, Ujjain, Damoh, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Satna, Tikamgarh, Umaria 29-30°C
Nighttime temperatures are also rising, with Seoni, Narmadapuram, Dhar, and Chhindwara recording above 15°C.

February’s first week will bring mixed weather warm days but cold mornings and nights.
Minimal impact from Western Disturbances, meaning little to no rain is expected.
Temperatures will dip slightly, but no extreme winter conditions are anticipated.
