Srinagar, February 10 The much-awaited Vande Bharat Express between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK) and Srinagar is set to be operational within the next fifteen days. This marks the first semi-high-speed train for the Kashmir Valley and the third Vande Bharat service for the Union Territory (UT).
The train has already arrived in the region and has successfully completed its trial run. Operated and maintained by the Northern Railway (NR) Zone, the orange and grey-colored train is now set to begin commercial service soon.

Launch and Ticket Pricing
A senior railway official confirmed that the Katra-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express is expected to be launched within the next fifteen days, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagging off the service.
While the exact fare structure is yet to be finalized, the expected pricing is:
₹1500-1600 for AC Chair Car
₹2200-2500 for Executive Chair Car
