With this refresh, both bikes promise improved environmental performance without sacrificing the reliability and efficiency that customers have come to expect.
Hero’s recent updates follow a similar overhaul to the Splendor Plus and Passion Plus, aligning their entire commuter segment with India’s stringent emission standards.

Both the Hero Super Splendor XTEC and Glamour are powered by the reliable 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. However, modifications have been made to meet the updated OBD2B emission standards. The Super Splendor XTEC continues to deliver 10.8 horsepower and 10.6 Nm torque through its 4-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, the Glamour provides slightly different tuning, generating 10 horsepower and 10.4 Nm torque, coupled with a more versatile 5-speed gearbox—particularly suitable for highway riding and frequent gear shifting.

The updated models retain their practical yet contemporary commuter aesthetics. Color variants for the Super Splendor XTEC include Matt Nexus Blue, Matt Grey, Black, and Candy Blazing Red. The Glamour lineup features options like Candy Blazing Red, Black Metallic Silver, Techno Blue Matt Black, and an exclusive Black-Sports Red variant specifically available with the drum brake model.

The latest compliance update brings with it a marginal price increase of approximately ₹2,000 for both motorcycles. The Super Splendor XTEC now retails starting from ₹88,128 (drum brake variant) to ₹90,028 (disc brake variant). The Glamour’s updated prices range between ₹84,698 and ₹90,698, depending on the selected variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
