Massive Price Fall on MCX
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), 24-carat gold with August 5 expiry was trading at ₹99,109 per 10 grams on June 20. By June 27, the same was trading at ₹95,524 per 10 grams, reflecting a sharp weekly decline of ₹3,585.
As per the IBJA, 999 purity gold dropped from ₹98,691 per 10 grams (June 20) to ₹95,780 per 10 grams (June 27) — a notable ₹2,911 drop.
