
Noida, February 26: A tragic event unfolded in a society located in Sector 143 of Noida on Thursday, where a young man took his own life by jumping from the 12th floor.
The incident caused chaos within the society, drawing a crowd of onlookers. Upon receiving the report, police from Sector 142 swiftly arrived at the scene and rushed the injured man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
The deceased has been identified as Narendra Sharma, son of Devdutt Sharma, and is reported to be a resident of the Sector 143 society in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
According to police, they received information on Thursday about a person who had jumped from the 12th floor. The police team arrived promptly to take necessary action. Initial investigations revealed that Narendra had returned to his Noida home just 24 hours prior, having visited his brother. The reasons behind the suicide remain unclear, as no suicide note was found at the scene, complicating the investigation.
Authorities are currently questioning family members and nearby residents to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident. The family of the deceased also arrived at the scene shortly after the tragedy.
The police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination, with further legal actions underway. Local residents are in shock over this incident that occurred in their community.
Police stated that the reasons for the suicide will become clearer following the post-mortem report and ongoing investigations. The Sector 142 police are diligently working on the case.
