Jaipur, March 04, 2026 — Temperatures in RAJASTHAN are rising steadily, with several cities recording maximum temperatures above 35°C on Tuesday. Western districts experienced intense daytime heat, while Barmer recorded the highest temperature, crossing 38°C.

Despite a slight drop in minimum temperatures during the night, the readings remained above normal in many places.
The Meteorological Centre in Jaipur has predicted that temperatures may increase further over the next two to three days, leading to stronger heat during the daytime.
Over the past 24 hours, the sky remained completely clear across the state, and bright sunshine was recorded from the morning. On Tuesday, maximum temperatures reached 35°C or higher in Pilani, Chittorgarh, Pali, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Phalodi, Bikaner, Churu, Nagaur, Jalore and Lunkaransar.
Across Rajasthan, every city recorded maximum temperatures above 31°C. Alwar recorded 31.4°C, while Jaipur and Udaipur reported 33.9°C. Sikar recorded 32.5°C, Ganganagar 33.3°C, Baran 32.9°C, Hanumangarh 31.2°C, Sirohi 32.8°C and Jhunjhunu 33.5°C.
Due to the rising heat, fans have started running in homes and offices in many cities during the morning and evening hours. In western districts, people have already begun using coolers and air conditioners during the daytime.
While daytime temperatures have increased, minimum temperatures dropped slightly on Tuesday night in several cities by about 1 to 2 degrees. In Churu, Sikar, Alwar, Tonk, Karauli, Dausa, Jhunjhunu and Baran, the minimum temperature fell below 15°C.
The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded in Fatehpur at 10.5°C, which brought mild coolness during the night in some areas.
