Who Will Be Bihars Next Chief Minister? Giriraj Singh Weighs In

Patna, March 5: The political landscape in Bihar is buzzing following Chief Minister Nitish Kumar‘s decision to move to the Rajya Sabha. Speculation is rife about who will take over the reins of the state once Kumar becomes a Member of Parliament. Union Minister Giriraj Singh has reassured that there is no need for concern. The next Chief Minister will emerge under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.

Bihar is set to hold elections for five Rajya Sabha seats. Two candidates will represent the BJP, two from the JD(U), and one seat has been allocated to the RLM.

In a conversation in Patna, Union Minister Giriraj Singh stated that Nitish Kumar is choosing to go to the Rajya Sabha of his own accord. He emphasized that whoever becomes Chief Minister will do so under Kumar’s guidance. Kumar had expressed his desire to join the Rajya Sabha three years ago, but was unable to do so due to impending elections. Singh made it clear that no one can send him there against his will; it is entirely his decision. The government will continue to operate according to his wishes.

Giriraj Singh also commented on the BJP’s national president Nitin Nabin being nominated as a Rajya Sabha candidate from Bihar, calling it a fortunate event for the state. He expressed pride that a national leader from Bihar is heading to the Rajya Sabha.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar confirmed his intention to join the Rajya Sabha in a post. He expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering support over the past two decades, which has enabled Bihar to achieve new heights of development and respect.
