Udaipur, March 13 (Daily Udaipur): Changes have been made in the number and timing of flights in the summer schedule at Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok, which will be effective from March 29 to October 26, 2026. Under the new schedule, only four flights will operate between Udaipur and Delhi. These include two flights of IndiGo and two of Air India.

At present, eight flights operate between Udaipur and Delhi under the winter schedule. With the implementation of the summer schedule, Delhi connectivity from Udaipur will reduce by half.
On the Udaipur–Jaipur route, both the currently operating flights will continue, but their timings have been revised. Under the existing winter schedule, a flight departs from Jaipur at 6:50 am and reaches Udaipur at 7:55 am. From March 29 under the summer schedule, this flight will depart Jaipur at 10:20 am and arrive in Udaipur at 11:25 am. The evening flight from Jaipur to Udaipur will reach Udaipur 45 minutes earlier at 5:50 pm.
Meanwhile, people in the region have again been disappointed as the long-pending demand for a direct Udaipur–Pune flight has not been fulfilled in the summer schedule. No non-stop flight has been included on this route.
Dependence on Connecting Flights for Udaipur–Pune
The demand for a direct flight between Udaipur and Pune has been raised for a long time, but the facility has not started even in the summer schedule. Due to the absence of a non-stop flight on this route, passengers have to rely on connecting flights via cities such as Delhi or Mumbai. This increases the travel time by five to ten hours.
Pune is among the country’s major education and industrial centres. Thousands of students from the Udaipur division travel there for engineering, medical, management and other courses. Many young professionals working in IT, automobile and manufacturing sectors are also employed there. Due to the lack of a direct flight, students and working professionals often face inconvenience while travelling.
People in the region believe that starting a regular flight on this route would save time and also boost tourism and business travel.
It is worth noting that the Airports Authority of India has not yet officially issued the summer schedule. Changes in the number and timing of flights operating from Udaipur may continue until March 29, 2026. The information related to Udaipur–Delhi and Udaipur–Jaipur flights is based on online booking details.
