District Magistrate Leads Comprehensive Solution Day in Hamirpur

Hamirpur, May 2: A Comprehensive Solution Day was held today in the Sarila tehsil of Hamirpur, chaired by District Magistrate Abhishek Goyal and attended by Superintendent of Police Mrigank Shekhar Pathak. The event focused on addressing complaints related to various departments, with strict instructions given to officials for prompt and quality resolutions.

The District Magistrate emphasized that every complaint received during the Comprehensive Solution Day must be resolved within a specified timeframe and with high quality. He instructed all officials to immediately document their reports upon receiving complaints, clearly stating when the resolution will be completed. It is mandatory to obtain the complainant’s signature on these reports.

He specifically directed that complaints related to housing and other beneficiary schemes should immediately clarify the eligibility status of the concerned individuals. The District Magistrate expressed strong disapproval of vague responses like “investigation will be conducted,” stating that such practices are unacceptable. Any negligence or indifference at any level will result in strict action against the responsible officials or employees.

The District Magistrate also instructed officials to prioritize on-site resolutions by coordinating among revenue, police, development, and other departments. Complaints regarding land disputes, illegal encroachments, family disputes, and welfare schemes should be treated with utmost seriousness to ensure permanent solutions.

Superintendent of Police Mrigank Shekhar Pathak issued directives for immediate and effective action on law and order-related complaints. He stated that providing timely justice to victims is a primary responsibility of the police, and any laxity will not be tolerated. Station heads were instructed to handle complainants sensitively and ensure fair resolutions of cases.

During the event, the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police distributed Ayushman cards and certificates to beneficiaries. They also took a joint selfie to raise awareness about the 2027 census among the public.

The District Magistrate further directed all officials to regularly review pending cases in their respective departments and prioritize the swift resolution of complaints received during the Solution Day. He reiterated that the administration’s top priority is to provide quick, transparent, and satisfactory solutions to the public’s problems, in line with the government’s intent.

Present at the event were Divisional Forest Officer A.K. Srivastava, Project Director Naveen Kumar Gupta, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sarila Balram Gupta, Deputy Collector/Settlement Officer Chikbandi Paigam Haider, Area Officer Shahrukh Khan, Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, and various district-level officials and employees from different departments.
