Suwalka Kalal Community Organizes Successful Blood Donation Camp

Chittorgarh, April 7: The Suwalka Kalal Community Service Committee organized a blood donation camp today at the premises of Shri Sanwaliya General Hospital, in celebration of World Health Day.

Spokesperson Vijay Banti Suwalka from Moonga Ka Khera announced that the event commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and floral tribute to their revered deity, Shri Rajrajeshwar Sahastrabahu Arjun. The chief guests included Lokesh Kumar Rashmi, former president of the Akhil Rajasthan Suwalka Sangh Trust, and Ishwar Dayal Suwalka, president of the Suwalka Kalal Community Service Committee, along with guardian Sumant Suwalka, a councilor.

A total of 72 units of blood were donated during the camp, with a notable participation from women across Chittorgarh district. However, some women were unable to donate due to low hemoglobin levels. The camp saw a significant number of rare blood type donors, with 12 individuals donating blood for the first time. Spokesperson Vijay Banti Suwalka also marked his 24th donation.

Under the guidance of Dr. Rohit Dhakad, an officer from the Sanwaliya Hospital Blood Bank, the blood bank team performed commendably. The event was supported by several community members, including Gopal Lal Ama, sarpanch, Harish, Omprakash Ramdev Ji from Chanderia, Suresh Kumar Rashmi, Radheshyam Chanderia, and many others who contributed to the success of the blood donation camp.
