Cockroach Peoples Party Demands Education Ministers Resignation in First Press Conference

New Delhi, June 4: The Cockroach People’s Party (CJP) held its inaugural press conference in New Delhi on Wednesday, addressing the education system and recent academic controversies. Three spokespersons from the party presented their demands and future strategies to the media. They reiterated their call for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, emphasizing that reforms are impossible without accountability in the education system.

Spokesperson Saurav Das responded to the recent transfers of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta, stating that merely transferring officials does not provide a lasting solution. He stressed the need for accountability and institutional reforms within the education system.

CJP founder Abhijit Dipke is set to arrive in New Delhi from the United States on June 6. Following his arrival, the party plans to complete necessary procedures to obtain permission for a protest at Jantar Mantar. The organization has also called upon youth across the country to participate in the movement.

Party leaders claimed that renowned social and environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk might join the proposed protest, although no official confirmation has been made yet.

CJP leaders assert that this movement extends beyond a single issue. It symbolizes the growing dissatisfaction among youth regarding the education system, administrative accountability, and the political framework. They claim that a significant number of students and young people are joining this campaign.

Recently, the Cockroach People’s Party gained traction on social media, following a notable comment by Chief Justice of India, D.Y. Chandrachud. The organization claims to have millions of followers across its social media platforms and Instagram accounts.

Founder Abhijit Dipke hails from Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, and has previously worked as a digital media strategist. Reports indicate he studied journalism in Pune and is currently pursuing higher education in Public Relations at Boston University in the United States.

Abhijit Dipke has also been associated with the Aam Aadmi Party’s social media campaigns. It is reported that he played a significant role in the party’s digital outreach from 2020 to 2022 before moving to the U.S. for further studies and career opportunities.

Active on various digital platforms, Abhijit Dipke has expressed his views on political and social issues, including the farmers’ movement and inflation. Under his leadership, the CJP is preparing to launch a national campaign focused on education and youth-related issues.
