Jaipur, June 8: The President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan, Madan Rathore, has voiced his dissatisfaction with the party’s media department, spokesperson panel, IT, and social media teams. He stated that during recent political controversies, the organization failed to demonstrate its full strength. Despite having a large team of experienced spokespersons and digital workers, the party did not effectively present its stance on several issues.
Addressing a meeting at the state BJP office, Rathore referred to the recent RLP controversy without naming anyone. He noted that there had been ongoing statements regarding a particular issue, responses from various platforms, and comments on social media. However, the BJP’s position did not come across with the expected strength.
Rathore emphasized that the party has a team of 65 experienced spokespersons, yet it often seemed that he alone had to respond to every issue. He clarified that this situation is not ideal, and different departments within the party need to fulfill their responsibilities more effectively.
It is noteworthy that a political controversy arose following a statement by Hanuman Beniwal, the leader of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP), regarding the Chief Minister and the cabinet. Rathore had sharply reacted to this, leading to RLP supporters showing him black flags in the Kuchaman area. This controversy remained a topic of discussion in both media and social media for an extended period.
During the meeting, the newly appointed state general secretary (organization), Ajey Kumar, also conveyed a message of organizational discipline to party workers and officials. He stated that if any worker has complaints or suggestions, they should be raised through the appropriate party channels. Issues related to the organization should be resolved through organizational processes rather than being brought up publicly.
Kumar asserted that the sole aim of party workers should be to effectively communicate the achievements of both the central and state governments to the public. He urged workers to promote government schemes and accomplishments in villages, gatherings, and on social media platforms with the spirit of “My government, the best government.”
He highlighted the critical role of the social media and IT departments in the current political landscape, stating that the BJP needs to adopt a more effective and aggressive strategy in the digital realm. It is essential to provide factual and prompt responses to opposition accusations and propaganda while preparing planned content to showcase the government’s achievements to a broader audience.
