Political Turmoil in Rajasthan Ahead of Amit Shahs Alwar Visit

Jaipur, August 13: Political tensions are rising in Rajasthan as Central Home Minister Amit Shah prepares for his upcoming visit to Alwar. The Leader of the Opposition, Tikaram Julie, has sharply criticized the state government over a protest led by Minister Sanjay Sharma regarding the functioning of the district administration and municipal corporation. Julie labeled the protest as a “face-saving drama” ahead of the municipal elections and demanded accountability from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

He emphasized that if court orders regarding these matters were issued long ago, why were appointments not made in a timely manner? He speculated that the sudden focus on long-standing issues is an attempt to mitigate potential political fallout, asserting that the public is closely observing these developments.

Additionally, Julie criticized the language used by Minister Sharma towards officials, stating that a person in a responsible constitutional position should maintain decorum. He noted that such harsh comments indicate a lack of coordination within the government.
