Amit Shah Criticizes Rahul Gandhi at Hyderabad Rally, Claims 3 Crore Votes from Bangladeshi Intruders

Hyderabad, November 2: Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Rahul Gandhi during a rally in Hyderabad, suggesting that Gandhi’s establishment of a “fake parliament” in Delhi would have brought peace to Sonia Gandhi’s heart, as he would never become Prime Minister in the real parliament. Shah challenged Gandhi to discuss issues related to EVMs, SIR, and infiltration in a special parliamentary session that the government is ready to convene.

Shah participated in the BJP’s ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ march in Hyderabad, addressing supporters afterward. This campaign, responding to opposition protests against SIR, is being conducted nationwide. The first phase runs from October 22 to November 5, marking the 12th day of the initiative on Monday.

Shah claimed that Congress aims to protect Bangladeshi infiltrators from being removed from the electoral rolls, as these individuals constitute their vote bank. He stated, “No matter how hard Rahul tries, the BJP will ensure that every infiltrator is removed from the country and the voter list.” He asserted that there are 3 crore votes from Bangladeshi intruders.

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s accusations that the BJP is winning elections through SIR, Shah questioned the absence of SIR during the BJP’s victories in 2014 and 2019. He expressed confidence that the BJP would also win in 2024 and subsequently in Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi, Bihar, Bengal, Assam, and Telangana.

Addressing concerns about EVMs raised by Congress, Shah remarked, “If EVMs are faulty, how did Revant Reddy become Chief Minister? How did your government come to power in Kerala and Himachal? When we win, it’s because of the people; when we lose, it’s blamed on EVMs.” He criticized Congress for its inability to accept defeat, stating that the public has entirely rejected them.

Shah noted that Rahul Gandhi often travels abroad immediately after elections, while others work hard in the country. He reiterated the government’s readiness for discussions in a special session, asserting that Gandhi and his party prefer chaos to remain in the limelight.

Finally, Shah dismissed any comparisons between himself and Modi, emphasizing that Gandhi has no standing against Modi, who has been free from corruption allegations for 12 years. He criticized the opposition for trying to win elections through false narratives.

The opposition had staged a mock parliament in Delhi on October 31, demanding the immediate removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the cessation of SIR, which Shah’s comments referenced.
