Udaipur, March 20: On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Group, conveyed heartfelt wishes to the residents of the state through social media, celebrating traditional customs and the sweetness of the Rajasthani language.
He began his message with words connected to the Rajasthani ethos: “Mhaaro Rajasthan, ret mein bhi himmat ke phool khilaave…” honoring the bravery, hard work, and resilience of the state’s people.
Agarwal highlighted that Rajasthan has faced harsh natural conditions for centuries—scorching sun, shifting sands, and limited rainfall. Yet, the people have transformed every challenge into an opportunity, creating a new identity. This land symbolizes not only struggle but also inspires self-confidence and continuous progress.
He pointed out Rajasthan’s vast natural resources, stating that the state is rich in zinc, silver, copper, potash, phosphate, oil, and gas. He emphasized the need to rethink development strategies and make better use of resources both above and below the ground.
Highlighting Rajasthan’s global recognition in tourism, he referred to Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer as major travel and wedding destinations. He also praised the state’s cultural and economic contributions through products like dal-baati-churma, bandhani, block print, handicrafts, marble, and textiles.
Agarwal expressed confidence that amidst global challenges, Rajasthan could emerge as a robust economic hub, playing a crucial role in making India self-reliant. He concluded by assuring that the Vedanta Group will stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Rajasthan, the youth, and the government in this journey of development.
