BJP MP Ghanshyam Tiwari Criticizes Former CM Ashok Gehlot Over Controversial Remarks

Jaipur, April 4: BJP senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ghanshyam Tiwari has launched a sharp attack on former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, responding critically to his remarks regarding ‘waiting scriptures.’ Tiwari emphasized that terms like ‘scripture’ hold sacred significance in India and should not be misused. He suggested that if Gehlot wishes to express his feelings, he should use ‘expression letters’ instead of invoking sacred terms.

Tiwari also targeted Gehlot’s political tenure, stating that whenever Gehlot has been Chief Minister, the party has suffered, leading to BJP’s rise to power. He accused the current Congress leadership of sidelining Gehlot, claiming he is expressing his frustrations through social media due to his neglect.

In addition, Tiwari raised concerns about issues such as paper leaks during competitive exams under Gehlot’s government, which he argued have adversely affected the future of youth. He pointed out that several significant projects, including the ERC Project and the Yamuna Water Agreement, have remained pending. He also referenced the JJM scam, noting that ministers and officials faced jail time during that period.

Presenting health sector statistics, Tiwari claimed that the current government has rapidly expanded medical facilities. He contrasted this with the Gehlot administration, which he said made limited appointments over five years, while the current government has made numerous appointments and established new hospitals in just two years.

Tiwari further alleged that the Gehlot government made numerous announcements during the election year without adequate budget provisions. He stated that many projects remained on paper and were not implemented on the ground.

He highlighted plans for the Jodhpur region, noting that despite several major announcements, there was a lack of spending and execution, while the current government has accelerated development projects and moved pending initiatives forward.

In conclusion, Tiwari remarked that making statements with incorrect facts on social media is inappropriate and creates confusion among the public. He asserted that the current government is operating with transparency and is rapidly progressing on its development roadmap.
