Jaipur, April 27: BJP National President Nitin Nawin faced an unexpected delay at Jaipur Airport, waiting for nearly two and a half hours during his first visit to Rajasthan. A technical issue with the helicopter caused a significant setback in his scheduled trip to Tonk.
According to reports, two helicopters were arranged for the journey from Jaipur to Tonk. However, one of the helicopters failed to arrive on time due to the malfunction. Consequently, the remaining helicopter had to make two trips between Jaipur and Tonk.
In the first round, BJP state president Madan Rathore and other leaders were flown to Tonk. Nitin Nawin finally departed for Tonk around 1:30 PM after the lengthy wait.
At the state hangar of Jaipur Airport, the national president met with Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, and other senior leaders.
Despite the delay caused by the helicopter’s technical issues, Nitin Nawin successfully inaugurated the newly established district office of the BJP in Tonk and addressed a workers’ conference. This visit is viewed as crucial for the organizational expansion of the BJP in Rajasthan and for shaping the party’s upcoming political strategy.
