Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Promotes Local Shopping on Dhanteras in Jaipur

Jaipur, November 6: On the festive occasion of Dhanteras, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the bustling Bada Bazaar in Mansarovar with his family. He engaged with street vendors, purchasing traditional items while making payments through UPI, thereby promoting digital transactions and the “Vocal for Local” initiative.

The Chief Minister bought clay lamps, pooja items, rangoli, and decorative garlands from local vendors. Upon his arrival at Bada Bazaar, he was warmly welcomed by the local business community. The sight of the Chief Minister shopping brought joy to small vendors and shoppers alike.

During his shopping spree, Sharma extended his best wishes to the public, small vendors, and traders for Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj.

He was not the only BJP leader shopping locally on Dhanteras. On the same day, BJP state president Madan Rathore purchased clay lamps from Bagadia Bhawan, while Industry Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore had bought lamps from Johari Bazaar on November 3. Earlier, on August 7, the Chief Minister had also supported local artisans by purchasing products at the Rajasthan Handloom House during National Handloom Day. This year, Diwali will be celebrated on November 8.

On Dhanteras, BJP state president Madan Rathore purchased clay lamps, urging the adoption of indigenous products; the state office shines brightly. On National Handloom Day, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the Rajasthan Handloom House to buy local products.
