Gold and Silver Prices Dip Marginally in India for Third Consecutive Day

New Delhi, April 25 — The Indian bullion market witnessed a slight decline in gold and silver prices for the third straight day on Thursday. Ongoing global uncertainty and mild profit booking have led to price corrections across major domestic markets.

Gold and Silver Prices

According to market analysts, 24-carat gold is currently trading between ₹98,230 to ₹98,330 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is ranging from ₹90,040 to ₹90,190 per 10 grams. Silver, too, dipped marginally and is being sold at ₹100,800 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

City-Wise Gold Prices Remain Stable but Lower

In Delhi, 24-carat gold is trading at ₹98,330 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹90,190 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, Mumbai markets have registered slightly lower prices, with 24-carat gold at ₹98,230 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹90,040 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, the gold prices mirrored Mumbai’s, at ₹98,230 for 24-carat and ₹90,090 for 22-carat gold. The same pattern was seen in Chennai and Kolkata, where 24-carat gold was priced at ₹98,230 and 22-carat at ₹90,040 per 10 grams.

Prices Consistent Across Other Major Cities

In Lucknow and Jaipur, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹98,330 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹90,190 per 10 grams. Patna followed closely, with 24-carat gold at ₹98,230 and 22-carat gold at ₹90,090.

South Indian markets, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, also reported minor declines. All three cities saw 24-carat gold selling at ₹98,230 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹90,040 per 10 grams.

Market Outlook

Experts suggest that global economic cues, along with fluctuating demand ahead of wedding and festival seasons, are influencing bullion rates. Despite the dip, demand is expected to rebound, potentially stabilizing or increasing prices in the coming weeks.
