Jaipur, April 11: Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party, has launched a fierce attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating that the competition is no longer just among political parties but also involves the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) community. Speaking at a private event in Jaipur, Yadav openly shared his views on national and state politics.
Commenting on Rajasthan’s political landscape, he remarked that if Vasundhara Raje had been the Chief Minister, the state would have seen greater development. He accused the BJP of diverting attention from real issues and fabricating narratives, much like fictional stories portrayed in films.
On religious and social matters, Yadav emphasized the importance of distinguishing between genuine and fake saints. He indirectly criticized certain ascetics, claiming that there is an effort to mislead society, while true saints like Shankaracharya are guiding people in the right direction.
Raising serious questions about the electoral process, he highlighted issues like fake signatures and cast doubt on the Election Commission’s impartiality. Yadav alleged that the Election Commission of India is operating under pressure from the BJP.
Regarding coalition politics, he stated that the INDIA alliance will grow stronger, although his party is not contesting elections in Rajasthan at this time. He also expressed disappointment over Nitish Kumar, stating he had hoped to see him as Prime Minister but felt politically betrayed.
