
Chittorgarh, April 10:
The Rajasthan government, through its Medical and Health Department, has launched the Ladli Incentive Scheme to encourage the birth of girls and ensure a better future for them. Under this scheme, a total incentive of ₹1.5 lakh is provided from the birth of a daughter until her education and adulthood.
Dr. Tarachand Gupta, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Chittorgarh, stated that the scheme benefits couples in Rajasthan whose daughter is born in a government hospital or a recognized medical institution. Financial assistance is provided in different phases, from the birth of the girl child to the completion of her undergraduate education.
The incentive amounts are distributed as follows:
– ₹2,500 at birth
– ₹2,500 upon completing one year and full vaccination
– ₹4,000 for admission to the first grade in a government or recognized private school
– ₹5,000 for admission to the sixth grade
– ₹11,000 for admission to the tenth grade
– ₹25,000 for admission to the twelfth grade
– ₹1,00,000 upon passing the graduation exam and reaching the age of 21
In total, the scheme provides ₹1,50,000 to the girl child. The statistical officer has urged all eligible families to register the necessary records online at medical institutions to avail of the benefits.
He also mentioned that the following documents are required when applying:
– Aadhar cards of both husband and wife
– Jan Aadhar card (with the mother’s name)
– A copy of the Mamta card
– Bank account number of the mother
– Other necessary document copies
