How NTA Calculates Percentile Scores
NTA uses a normalization process to address score variation across multiple exam shifts. The percentile score is not the raw score, but a relative ranking based on exam session performance.
Percentile Score Formula:100 × (Number of candidates with equal or lower scores) ÷ Total candidates in session
This methodology ensures fairness, especially when different sessions may vary slightly in difficulty level.
