
Udaipur, March 14: In a significant operation against illegal drugs, police in the Tidi police jurisdiction have arrested two individuals. This action is part of the ongoing campaign named Operation Trinetra.
Authorities seized 257.390 kilograms of illegal doda chura and 120 grams of opium from the suspects. Additionally, a car and various tools used for drug preparation were confiscated.
The operation took place in a rented house located near National Highway 48 in the Patiya area. The arrested individuals are Dharmchandra Meena (22) from Khera Ghati, Tidi police station, and Nitesh, also known as Hitesh or Chiku Gaderi (20), from Batharda Khurd.
From the scene, police recovered 11 plastic bags filled with doda chura, opium, grinding mills, electric scales, mixer-grinder machines, and packing materials. The suspects are facing charges under the NDPS Act, and further investigations are ongoing.
