Good news for those whose mobile number is not linked to their Aadhaar or if their registered number is inactive! The UIDAI now allows you to order a PVC Aadhaar Card even without a linked mobile number. All it takes is a simple online process and a nominal fee.

Here’s how you can get your PVC Aadhaar card delivered to your doorstep, even if your mobile number isn’t registered with Aadhaar.
Step-by-Step Process to Order a PVC Aadhaar Card Without a Linked Mobile Number
-
Visit UIDAI’s Official Website
Open your browser and go to: https://myadhaar.uidai.gov.in -
Select the ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’ Option
On the homepage, locate and click on the ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’ option. -
Enter Your Aadhaar Details
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and fill in the captcha code. -
Select the ‘My Mobile Number is not Registered’ Option
Below the form, tick the checkbox that says ‘My mobile number is not registered’. -
Enter an Active Mobile Number
Enter any currently active mobile number that you are using. It doesn’t need to be the one linked to Aadhaar. -
Verify Using OTP
An OTP will be sent to the mobile number you just entered. Enter the OTP on the website to proceed. -
Pay the PVC Aadhaar Card Fee
You will be asked to pay ₹50 as a fee, which includes printing and home delivery via speed post. -
Receive PVC Aadhaar at Your Address
Once payment is successful, UIDAI will print your PVC Aadhaar card with a hologram and deliver it to your registered Aadhaar address.
Things to Keep in Mind
-
This facility is useful for those who either haven’t registered their mobile number with Aadhaar or have lost access to their registered number.
-
Make sure your address in Aadhaar is accurate, as the PVC card will be delivered there.
-
This card is durable, tamper-proof, and contains security features like a hologram, micro text, ghost image, and QR code.
