New Delhi, May 7, 2025 In what is being termed one of the most decisive counter-terror operations in recent years, India’s armed forces have successfully eliminated over 90 terrorists in a series of coordinated strikes under Operation Sindoor. The strikes were carried out on May 7 at around 1:45 AM, targeting nine high-value terror camps located across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The largest blow was dealt in Muridke, a known stronghold of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, where 30 terrorists were neutralized in a single strike. Other locations saw dozens of militants killed as Indian forces executed precision air and ground operations with clinical efficiency.
Fulfillment of PM Modi’s Pledge After Pahalgam Attack
Following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 Indian civilians, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed a strong and uncompromising response. In a public address, he promised that “every inch of ground that harbors terrorists will be reduced to dust.”
Operation Sindoor marks the fulfillment of that pledge, as Indian security forces were granted full operational freedom to dismantle terror infrastructure across the border.
