Cities like Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Ganganagar, and Churu have recorded maximum temperatures 4-5°C above the seasonal average. However, chilly mornings and evenings continue, keeping winter’s presence intact.
According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, minimum temperatures will start rising from today (Wednesday), reducing morning and evening chills. A major weather change is expected on February 3, bringing rainfall to several parts of the state.

On Tuesday, Rajasthan experienced clear skies during the day, allowing the sun to shine bright. However, by evening, clouds gathered over southeastern districts, including Tonk, Udaipur, Sirohi, Bhilwara, Rajsamand, and Ajmer. The cloud cover, combined with a drop in temperature post-sunset, brought a noticeable chill in the air.
The highest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 30.2°C in Jaisalmer and Jalore, followed closely by Dungarpur (29.6°C), Jodhpur (29.6°C), Barmer (29.4°C), and Chittorgarh (29.9°C). Other notable temperatures include Ajmer (27°C), Bikaner (28.4°C), Churu (27.7°C), Nagaur (28.2°C), Fatehpur (27.2°C), and Udaipur (27.3°C).

In Jaipur, residents experienced a warm day with bright sunshine on Tuesday. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 26.1°C and a minimum of 9.2°C. By evening, clouds started forming, and cool winds added a slight chill to the air.

The weather is expected to remain dry across Rajasthan until February 2, with temperatures continuing to rise. However, a strong western disturbance is likely to impact the region from February 3, leading to cloud cover and rainfall in multiple cities.
