Ranchi, March 3: On the auspicious occasion of Holi, Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth extended his warm wishes to the citizens of India. He urged everyone to celebrate the festival by setting aside old grievances and differences.
In a conversation, Seth described Holi as a beautiful festival that brings people closer together. He emphasized that it is a time to forget past disputes and embrace one another. “No matter what disagreements or conflicts arise throughout the year, Holi serves as a reminder to reconcile,” he stated.
Seth highlighted the ancient roots of Holi, encouraging everyone to celebrate it with enthusiasm. He remarked, “In addition to Holi, people should also celebrate other religious festivals like Diwali, Shivratri, and Sawan. Some individuals object to our celebrations, claiming, ‘Don’t celebrate Holi; it wastes water.’ I ask them how much water they use to wash their cars or tend to their gardens. Yet, when Diwali comes, they celebrate on December 25 and 31, bursting firecrackers. What about that?”
He also mentioned, “We will definitely offer milk to Lord Bhole Baba, as his name signifies innocence.”
Seth referred to the ‘Namo Shri Anna Holi Milan Samaroh,’ which has seen thousands of attendees since 2023. He praised the Prime Minister’s commitment to promoting coarse grains and millet, stating that grains like bajra, jowar, ragi, maize, and Malwa are now easily accessible. This initiative will help people stay healthy and empower small farmers to become self-reliant.
Wishing everyone a joyful Holi, Seth concluded, “May this festival bring happiness to all. The most significant day of Holi will be August 15, 2047, when the Prime Minister’s vision for a developed India will be realized. On that day, the entire nation will be painted in the colors of progress.”
